Datadog Tutorials: How to Monitor Apache using Datadog in Windows

Step 1 – Download Xampp from this URL for windows. This would install Apache and mysql.

Step 2 – Run a installer

Step 3 – Start Apache and MySQL Services

Step 4 – How to enable mod_status in apache?

FILE – C:\xampp\apache\conf\httpd.conf

AFTER THIS LINE - DocumentRoot "/var/www/html"

LoadModule status_module modules/mod_status.so
<Location /server-status>
   SetHandler server-status
   Order deny,allow
   Deny from all
   Allow from all
   Allow from 172.31.0.16

Step 5 – Restart Apache

Step 6 – Generate traffic at http://localhost

Step 7 – Verify the Metrices at http://localhost/server-status

Step 8 – Go to Datadog under integration and Install Apache Integration

Step 9 – Now Focus at “configure” TAB and follow the steps

Step 10 – Validate metrices at Datadog metrices explorer
